Traditional analytics tools track users with cookies that follow them across sites, which means you need a cookie banner and have to deal with GDPR, CCPA, and ePrivacy compliance. Docsio does none of that.
Unique visitors are counted using a daily-rotating server-side hash of the IP address and user agent. The raw IP is never stored. The hash rotates every 24 hours so users can't be tracked across days. No identifiers, no cross-site tracking, no GDPR banner required.
